Continuous, lifelong learning is mandatory these days. If you’re not learning, you’re not keeping up but most importantly, you are not growing.

Yes YouTube and similar forums are great for learning. Yet coming together in personal learning circles is intended to put the fun and social aspects back into the mix, something we lost in the COVID pandemic.

While all of us have special knowledge and skills we can bring to the party, AI can and should play a role. After all, AI is all about taking the world’s knowledge and processing it for better human consumption. And machines are far better at that than humans. What we do with it is down to us. That requires critical thinking.

socialWRKS is about creating safe and fun spaces for learning but also applying AI technology to facilitate and enable that learning.

Sessions will all have these types of guidelines:

• Connect first and then learn, or we can decide to just have fun.
• When learning, decide what our topics are and who should lead
• Where can we use AI to enhance the learning process and can we also use AI to help solve big problems for others
• As far as possible, document everything so we can capture it in blog posts for people that couldn’t attend (members only)
